1. What will happen to the ashtray if I make a fire in it?It will break in half. Only use the ashtray under the boma pitfire or braai to catch the ash. 2. How long will my boma pitfire or braai last me?In the five years that we have been producing this product we have had no comebacks yet. 3. What properties in my boma pitfire and braai make it crack proof?Products made from cement will crack. Our Bluestone Fires range are made from refractory materials which are heat tolerant and are guaranteed. 4. What are your Bluestone Fires products made from?We use high quality materials and our own unique Bluestone Fireclay that has for virtually zero thermal expansion. This is vital to the life of your piece because these materials, coupled with the fact that these products are not made from cement, means that they will resist heat for a lifetime. 5. What are your Stonecraft products made from?We use our own stoneware clay and various glazes.

6. How do I clean the boma pitfire or braai?With a nylon kitchen brush and dishwashing liquid. 7. Will the steel rust?Quality materials are used and treated to protect against normal rusting, but in the course of time rust may develop on any metal and will require minor maintenance. 8. How do I use the accessories and attach them to the boma pitfire and braai?All the accessories fit neatly onto the pitfires and braais by means of metal casings. The accessories should be used as normal cooking implements. 9. How do I protect the accessories from rusting?Store them indoors to protect them from the weather when not in use. 10. What is the difference between a braai and a boma pitfire?The only difference is in the length of the legs. Boma pitfires have short legs and braais have long legs.

11. How big a fire can I make?Make your fire on top of the charcoal grid provided and keep it inside the bowl of the boma pitfire or braai. Fire should not be allowed to burn on the top tiled rim. 12. How do I take care of my boma pitfire and braai?Every effort has been made to provide you with the best possible quality product. In order to maximise the life of your purchase you need to maintain it periodically. They may be cleaned with a nylon kitchen brush and dishwashing liquid. The steel portions of the boma pitfire and braai and the steel accessories may require occasional maintenance. Clean with a wire brush and remove all trace of rust. Repaint using a rust paint which is available from any hardware store. 13.
